  • Can I get color matched? 
    • Yes! We provide color matching and recommendations through DM, chat on our website, text or email at hello@shinecosmetics.com. All we need is a current selfie, taken in natural light that you feel best represents your skin tone. We are waiting to help you!
  • Why won’t my liner twist up? 
    • Our liners are actually made of wood and can be sharpened just like a regular pencil. We do sell a sharpener specially formulated for our liners, but in the meantime, any sharpener you have on hand will work! You can purchase our sharpener here
  • Do you sell brushes? 
    • Yes, we do! You can shop our brushes line here
  • How do I know expiration dates for my products?
    • Generally speaking, the more moisture a product contains, and the closer it is applied to your eyes, the sooner it needs to be thrown out. Moisture-laden products will retain more bacteria, and of course, you don’t want a bacteria-filled mascara wand or eyeliner pencil to be right next to your eye. Here are the general guidelines for how long you can keep various cosmetic products, measuring from the time that you first use it:
      • Foundation: 6 months to 1 year
      • Lipstick, liner, and gloss: 1 year
      • Brow pencils and eyeliner: 1 year
      • Mascara: 3 months
      • Liquid eyeliner: 3 to 4 months
      • Blushes and other powder: 2 years
      • Cream blushes: 12 to 18 months
      • Eye shadow: 3 to 6 months
  • How will I know when a product is restocked?
    • We hate when products are out of stock as much as you do! The best way to stay notified is to sign up for the waitlist on the product page. Restock notifications are sent to those on the waitlist first.
  • How can I manage my subscription?

  • What is BB Cream? Compared to a foundation? 
    • BB cream is short for 'beauty balm', and it's used to moisturize, protect, and even your skin tone. Our BB Cream is a medium coverage that feels weightless upon application and can serve as your foundation and primer with the added bonus of SPF. If you find that you want a more full coverage look, Shine BB Cream is buildable without leaving your face feeling cakey.

  • Do coupon codes/gift cards work for international customers?
    • Most coupon codes should work for international customers. If you are outside the U.S.A. and are having issues with a coupon code or gift card, please email us at hello@shinecosmetics.com.
  • Do you apply BB before Contour, Highlight, Blush, Concealer products or after?
    • Generally speaking, it is recommended to apply your concealer, then your BB Cream before applying contour, blush and highlight. However, there are benefits to applying in the opposite order and both techniques can be used. It really comes down to personal preference and the final look you are striving to achieve.
  • How do I know how to contour properly?
    • We offer instructional cards inside each of our Contour, Highlight, Blush Sticks and Glow Collection orders. You can also follow our social media for tutorials here
  • Do I need a primer with the BB Cream?
    • You do not need a primer with Shine BB Cream. However, if you wish to use one, we recommend a water-based primer for best results.
  • Are your products gluten free?
    • Yes, Shine Cosmetics products are gluten free.
  • Are your products non-comedogenic?
    • Yes, Shine Cosmetics products are non-comedogenic.
  • How do I know what colors are right for me?

  • What shipping options do you offer?
    • Local Pickup

  • Do you ship to Canada? 
    • At this time we ship within the United States (including Puerto Rico, US Marshall Islands, American Islands, Alaska, Hawaii & Northern Mariana Islands) as well as to Canada. Shipping rates may vary. Customers are responsible for duties, taxes or fees incurred through international shipping.    
  • How long will it take for my order to process and ship?
    • For items that are in stock, please allow up to 3 business days for processing on standard shipping.  For orders placed with an expedited shipping rate, please allow up to 1-2 business days for processing. Shipments are processed Monday-Thursday, excluding major holidays. For items that are pre ordered, please refer to the estimated ship dates on that item. All shipments are sent from Lindon, Utah.  How long it takes to arrive depends on how far away the destination is from Utah and which shipping method was chosen/paid for.  Most U.S. shipments take 1-7 business days.  International shipments take 6-8 weeks. Please refer to your tracking number for the estimated delivery date.
  • Do you offer free shipping?
    • Free shipping on all US orders over $50 (pretax & post discount). *$50 free shipping threshold only applies within the 48 contiguous states and is automatically selected at checkout, excluding APO, DPO, and FPO addresses.
      Free shipping on all Canada orders over $100 (pretax & post discount).
  • Do you ship internationally?
    • At this time we ship within the United States (including Puerto Rico, US Marshall Islands, American Islands, Alaska, Hawaii & Northern Mariana Islands) as well as to Canada. Shipping rates may vary. Customers are responsible for duties, taxes or fees incurred through international shipping.    
  • Do you offer Local Pickup? 
    • Yes! You may select Local Pickup as your shipping method and your order will be ready for pickup within 1 business day.
  • What hours is your storefront open?

  • What is your return policy? 
    • Shine Cosmetics accepts returned merchandise within thirty (30) days of order for any reason (shipping and handling not refundable). Just let us know why the product did not meet your satisfaction by contacting a Shine Cosmetics customer care agent at 1-877-557-4463 or email us at returns@shinecosmetics.com.

Returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original packing slip and/or a copy of the receipt then refunds or product credit will be made.

  • What if I receive a product that is damaged or defective?
    • In the event that a product is defective or arrives damaged from a carrier, the customer will need to submit a claim for damaged or defective merchandise must be made within 7 days of purchase. Please contact a Shine Cosmetics customer care agent or email returns@shinecosmetics.com. Shine Cosmetics will send a replacement once the request is processed. Customers are asked to include digital photo(s) of the damaged or defective product so Shine Cosmetics can forward it to our carrier.
  • Do you offer price adjustments?
    • Yes, we do! We offer a one-time price adjustment within a 14-day window of purchase. Email us with your order number and price adjustment request to hello@shinecosmetics.com. Price match must occur while promo period is still active and cannot be retroactively applied.
  • Can I return an item for a refund?

  • What if my package is lost or stolen?
    • Shine will include tracking numbers for every package sent. The customer is responsible for checking with their local postal carrier if a tracking number shows a package was delivered yet the customer has not received it. In this case, the customer will be required to file a lost/stolen claim with their local post office. After a shipment has been reported lost with the local carrier, a request may be made with Shine Cosmetics for replacement of the lost shipment.
  • Does Shine pay for shipping on returns?
    • Customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning products for refund/exchange.
